Job summary

Stem IT in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to build and scale a secure, modern cloud infrastructure. This role will own CI/CD, automation, Kubernetes, security, observability, and disaster recovery, while providing technical leadership and mentoring across the DevOps team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Azure/AKS, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and Kustomize, plus expertise in secure network design and Zero Trust principles for a high-growth cybersecurity startup.

Qualifications

5+ years in DevOps with IaC and automation.
Expert Azure and AKS experience.
Terraform and Kubernetes expertise.
ArgoCD and Kustomize experience.
Secure networks and Zero Trust design.

Responsibilities

Own and advance CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Scale secure cloud infrastructure using Azure/AKS.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the DevOps team.
Collaborate across teams on architecture decisions.
Design disaster recovery and security governance.
