Job summary

Proxify is hiring a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable Azure-based systems. This remote role requires CET-friendly hours and offers a steady, fully remote pathway with consistent monthly pay.

You’ll work with leading clients, design and automate cloud infrastructure, and mentor other engineers while enjoying up to 24 flex days per year and a predictable 8-hour day schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with a strong Azure focus.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services: VMs, App Service, Functions, and more.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles and tools (ARM templates, Terraform).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours) — applications from candidates outside this range cannot be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable Azure infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts with ARM/Terraform, PowerShell, Bash.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Operate AKS and container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Apply IaC to define infrastructure resources.
• Set up monitoring with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Ensure security and compliance of Azure resources.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on cloud solutions.
• Create disaster recovery and resilience plans.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize resources.
• Document Azure architecture, deployments, and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning.
