Job summary

Edvantis seeks a DevOps Engineer to own deployments for an Azure/on‑prem environment and to shape a formal SRE/DevOps process. You will work closely with engineering to understand pipelines, enforce proper release practices, and manage access controls across GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.

You will support both Windows and Linux servers, automate with Terraform, PowerShell, and CI/CD tools, and help move the colocation environment toward Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting cloud-native apps in Azure environment.
• IaC expertise with Terraform or similar tooling.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Responsibilities

• Establish a formal SRE/DevOps deployment model for the on-premise env.
• Manage access and permissions for GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Embed with Engineering to align deployments with upcoming releases.
• Oversee on-prem deployments and relate them to Azure plans.
• Transition deployment processes to the new SRE org.
• Enable rapid ramp-up after access and procedures are in place.
