Job summary

DCV Technologies is seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer for a 100% remote, B2B contract role across Romania/Bulgaria/Poland. You will own end-to-end data pipelines in Azure Databricks, implement DataOps practices, and collaborate with Data Architects, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers to deliver analytics-ready data assets.

Strong SQL/Python, eight years' data engineering experience, and autonomy are essential.

Qualifications

Eight years+ of professional data engineering experience
Hands-on Microsoft Azure and Databricks expertise required
Advanced SQL and Python skills
Experience building and operating data pipelines
Knowledge of data-platform and lakehouse concepts
Experience with DevOps: version control, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring
Experience with SRE and incident management
Strong stakeholder communication across teams
Ability to work autonomously and document decisions

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and deploy scalable data pipelines for reporting and analytics.
Review pipelines for reliability, performance, and observability.
Onboard Core Products data workloads onto Group Data Platform.
Ensure alignment with governance, security, and engineering standards.
Maintain pipelines and ensure daily data delivery.
Collaborate with Data Architects, PMs, and Eng Managers across tribes.
