Job summary

Proxify AB seeks a Senior Data Engineer with deep Azure expertise to build end-to-end data pipelines and warehouses. You will design data models and DAX measures to enable robust BI reporting for diverse stakeholders, collaborating across teams to translate requirements into scalable Azure solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, governance, and experience with Power BI, Python, and CI/CD practices. Hybrid- remote options may be considered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering roles.
• Advanced SQL knowledge with performance tuning.
• Strong Azure data services experience (SQL Database, Data Factory).
• ETL development, data integration, and pipeline orchestration.
• Data modeling and data warehouse architectures.
• Data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
• Nice-to-have: Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Azure DevOps.
• Power BI development expertise (Power Query, DAX, Service).
• Python or other scripting languages for data processing.
• Git or other version control for CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SQL.
• Implement data models and DAX measures to support reporting.
• Manage and optimize ETL workflows with focus on quality and performance.
• Design and maintain data warehouses and dimensional models (star/snowflake).
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs.
• Integrate data from SQL, cloud storage, APIs and flat files.
• Ensure governance, accuracy, and integrity across BI ecosystem.
