Job summary

Axiom Path is seeking a senior Azure Data Engineer to help build and scale a cloud-based data platform for capital markets in a long-term hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. You will work on data pipelines, APIs, and enterprise-grade data solutions using Azure services.

The role involves cross-border collaboration with teams in Charlotte, Jersey City, and India, and requires extensive Python and PySpark development, SQL expertise, and strong DevOps practices in a W2 environment.

Qualifications

Advanced hands-on development with Python and PySpark required.
Proven enterprise data solutions design using Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Gen2, Databricks, databases, and Functions.
Familiarity with API management, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Financial services exposure in capital markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance a strategic enterprise data platform for capital markets.
Build scalable data pipelines and processing solutions on Azure stack.
Develop Python APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks for data accessibility.
Integrate Azure databases, API management, and Functions into end-to-end data solutions.
Collaborate across distributed teams in Charlotte, Jersey City, and India.
