Job summary

Axiom Path is seeking a senior Azure data engineer hybrid in Charlotte, NC, to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and pipelines for enterprise analytics. You will work on cloud-native solutions, govern data security, and collaborate with stakeholders to enable trusted data access.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of data/tech experience, proven Azure expertise (Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks), and strong communication skills within a hybrid enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology/data engineering experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing data solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Experience building data pipelines, data lakes, and cloud-based data integration workflows.
• Strong understanding of data security, compliance, governance, and enterprise data standards.
• Azure certifications are strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, enterprise environment with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
