Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Chicago is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer to own remediation and hardening across our cloud environment. This is a hands-on role focused on turning findings into durable fixes and reducing recurring issues.

You will lead identity governance, policy-as-code, guardrails, and CSPM efforts, working with Defender for Cloud and automation. Strong Azure Entra ID, OIDC/OAuth, and scripting skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Security or Security engineering with hands-on Azure experience.
• Strong Microsoft Entra ID expertise: app registrations, permissions, and Conditional Access.
• Knowledge of OIDC, OAuth 2.0, PKCE, JWT, and mTLS.
• Terraform and Azure Policy for policy-as-code and guardrails.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and CSPM.
• Track record of root-causing and permanently closing findings.
• Understanding of AI security considerations.
• Nice to have: CI/CD security, secrets management, SIEM/SOAR.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of security findings and recommendations and close gaps.
• Implement systemic fixes (policy-as-code, guardrails, baselines) to prevent recurrences.
• Design, implement, and tune Conditional Access policies.
• Build and enforce guardrails using Azure Policy and Terraform; manage IaC baselines.
• Operate Defender for Cloud and drive secure-score improvements.
• Secure cloud admin portals; enforce MFA, PIM, and least-privilege access.
• Apply security controls to AI workloads and agents.
