Job summary

Artifintech is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer to own remediation and hardening across our cloud environment. This hands-on role drives secure-by-design implementations and reduces recurring findings.

You will transform security recommendations into durable fixes, enforce guardrails using IaC, and collaborate with security and engineering teams to strengthen identity, access, and cloud posture. You will measure risk reduction over time and ensure controls scale with the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Security or Security engineering with hands-on Azure experience.
• Strong Microsoft Entra ID expertise: app registrations, Enterprise Apps, permissions and consent, CA.
• Knowledge of modern authentication: OIDC, OAuth 2.0, PKCE, JWT, and mTLS.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Azure Policy for policy-as-code and guardrails.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and cloud security posture management.
• Proven track record of root-causing and permanently closing findings.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of security findings from triage to closure.
• Implement systemic fixes via policy-as-code and guardrails.
• Track remediation SLAs and report risk reduction and posture trends.
• Secure and govern modern authentication and Entra ID configurations.
• Build guardrails with Azure Policy and IaC baselines; detect drift.
• Operate Defender for Cloud and drive secure-score improvements.
• Contribute to security governance and audit evidence.
