Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer to own remediation and hardening across our Azure environment. You will turn security recommendations into durable fixes, ensuring they do not recur and are enforced by design.

This hands-on role requires deep Azure experience, Entra ID mastery, and strong policy-as-code skills. You will drive secure-by-default configurations and collaborate with a Security Engineering team while focusing on practical, scalable security

Qualifications

5+ years in Cloud Security or Security engineering with strong Azure experience.
Deep Entra ID expertise: app registrations, Enterprise Apps, permissions, consent, and Conditional Access.
Solid knowledge of modern authentication: OIDC, OAuth 2.0 / PKCE, JWT, and mTLS.
Proficiency with Terraform and Azure Policy for policy-as-code and guardrails.
Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and cloud security posture management.
Proven track record of root-causing and permanently closing security findings.

Responsibilities

Own the full lifecycle of security findings and recommendations, through triage, remediation, verification, and closure.
Implement systemic fixes (policy-as-code, automated guardrails, secure baselines) to prevent recurring findings.
Track remediation SLAs and report risk reduction and posture trends over time.
Secure and govern authentication flows and privileged access across Azure and SaaS apps.
