Job summary

Ashburn Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure for client environments. You will guide teams, ensure security, and drive reliability and cost optimization.

Responsibilities include deploying resources with ARM/Bicep, automating pipelines, monitoring, and enforcing best practices across hybrid cloud deployments. Strong mentoring and documentation skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to guide security policy, networking, and resource deployment in Azure.
• Experience in mission-critical enterprise environments and DR planning.
• Strong collaboration with development/ops and mentoring capabilities.
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, ARM/Bicep, and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Azure solutions.
• Provision Azure resources (VMs, storage, VNets) and automate deployment pipelines.
• Monitor performance, cost, and security; enforce best practices.
• Lead and mentor teams; maintain cloud architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with on-prem and hybrid cloud connectivity and integration.
