Job summary

System One is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud & GitHub Platform Engineer to design, implement, and secure enterprise cloud platforms. You will lead AKS deployments, GitHub Actions pipelines, IAM governance, and DevSecOps practices across teams.

The role requires 7+ years in cloud/platform/DevOps, 5+ years Azure, and hands-on GitHub Enterprise experience. This multiyear contract in Vienna, VA offers a hybrid work model with onsite three days a week and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of professional cloud/platform/DevOps experience.
• At least 5+ years hands-on Azure experience.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, AKS, and IAM security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and support Azure cloud platform services.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize AKS clusters and related Azure services.
• Manage GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD pipelines, and security governance.
• Establish least-privilege access models and IAM controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability.
