Job summary

Tandym-Group is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud & GitHub Platform Engineer to join our Virginia team in Vienna. This hybrid role focuses on designing, securing, automating, and supporting enterprise environments on Azure, Kubernetes, and GitHub to enable reliable software delivery and cloud operations.

The ideal candidate will lead cloud platform initiatives, manage AKS and GitHub Enterprise, and implement secure CI/CD practices across multiple engineering teams in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud/platform engineering or related field.
• 5+ years with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and GitHub Enterprise.
• Proven CI/CD expertise using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with IaC (Packer, ARM templates) and automation scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and support Azure cloud platform services.
• Manage AKS environments: provisioning, upgrades, autoscaling, networking, security.
• Implement IAM controls using Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC.
• Administer GitHub Enterprise platforms: orgs, teams, repos, protections, integrations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC for cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Support monitoring, logging, incident response, and continuous improvement.
