Job summary

Unisys in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Azure-based security solutions with emphasis on multitenant Microsoft Sentinel environments. You will architect Sentinel deployments, configure Azure Lighthouse, automate via IaC, and monitor performance while collaborating across teams.

Ideal candidates have 5-8 years in Azure Cloud or Cloud Security, deep Sentinel/Azure Monitor knowledge, and strong IaC/DevOps experience.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering or Cloud Security Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Monitor.
• Hands-on experience deploying multitenant Sentinel setups using Azure Lighthouse.
• Strong experience with Azure ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell/CLI.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Event Hubs, and Custom Connectors for Sentinel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Azure Policy.
• Strong grasp of network security, identity management, log ingestion, and compliance.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, especially in a customer-facing or MSP environment.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design multitenant Microsoft Sentinel architectures.
• Configure Azure Lighthouse for cross-tenant management.
• Automate Sentinel deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure operations.
• Document system designs and standard operating procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure security features and best practices.
