Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Lead Consultant – Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure for clients. The role emphasizes strong consultative leadership, Azure platform delivery, and collaboration with multiple teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

The position involves hands-on engineering, mentoring, and guiding architectural decisions, with a focus on security, governance, and cost effectiveness across on-premises and cloud

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and platform engineering.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure platform implementation, migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Azure landing zones, networking, identity, governance, and security frameworks.
• Provide hands-on engineering leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration.
• Promote IaC, automation, and cloud-native engineering best practices.
• Support hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architectures where appropriate.
