Job summary

Sphera is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to own the technical direction and architecture roadmap for a portfolio of cloud-based SaaS solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will translate requirements, mentor engineers, and drive secure, scalable multi-tenant applications from design through delivery.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of web and cloud development experience, strong Azure and backend architecture expertise, and a proven track record in leading development teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Web and Cloud development experience.
• Architecting and implementing Cloud SaaS multi-tenant systems.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies and services.
• Expert in backend architecture, performance and security.
• Proficient in C#, JSON, REST APIs, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience leading development teams and Azure DevOps.
• Life-cycle assessment knowledge is a plus; Delphi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide and own the system architecture roadmap and key decisions.
• Coordinate and lead agile teams to design, develop, test and deliver software.
• Communicate mission, architecture, deadlines and expectations clearly.
• Develop and support Web and Cloud SaaS multi-tenant solutions.
• Ensure scalability and performance via sound architecture.
• Plan projects with estimations, timelines and milestones.
• Work with stakeholders to align business needs and dependencies.
• Write clean code for web and server applications.
• Design secure, scalable RESTful services and APIs.
• Mentor junior team members; perform other duties as needed.
