Legence in Minneapolis, MN (hybrid) seeks an Azure Architect to define, design, and govern cloud architecture standards for scalable, secure, cost‑efficient solutions across the organization. This role partners with Infrastructure, Security, Applications, and external vendors to guide complex Azure initiatives and ensure best practices.

You will lead migrations, modernization programs, and hybrid cloud initiatives, collaborating to implement enterprise Azure solutions and optimize cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 8–12+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering with Azure focus.
• Hands-on experience designing Azure architectures at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and document Azure architectures aligned with security, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Define reference architectures, landing zones, and reusable patterns for Azure workloads.
• Translate requirements into end-to-end Azure solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, and platform services.
• Architect and govern Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, networking, Azure AD, monitoring, and automation.
• Lead on-premises to Azure migration initiatives and hybrid cloud projects.
• Ensure designs adhere to architectural principles and are operationally supportable.
• Embed security‑by‑design and align solutions with governance and compliance.
