Job summary

Lowenstein Sandler, a leading US law firm, seeks an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, deploy, and secure cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure. You will collaborate across security, networking, and software teams to ensure compliant, scalable solutions in a hybrid environment.

The role requires 5+ years of cloud architecture experience, strong Azure and Entra ID expertise, and proficiency in IaC (Bicep/Terraform). Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years designing cloud architecture and standards.
• Experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS, networking, and identity.
• Strong monitoring with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Governance using Azure Policy and security best practices.
• Experience administering Entra ID including CA and PIM.
• IaC with Bicep, Terraform or equivalent tooling.
• PowerShell scripting and Graph SDK familiarity.
• Hybrid environments integrating on-prem with Azure AD.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Azure infra aligned with security and business needs.
• Lead cloud deployment initiatives and secure apps on Azure.
• Enforce cloud architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
• Collaborate across infra, security, and software teams for scalable design.
• Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Implement networking (VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute) and hybrid connectivity.
• Maintain monitoring/observability with Azure Monitor and logs.
• Define and deploy Azure Policy and remediation tasks; ensure compliance.
• Administer Entra ID at scale: CA, PIM, passwordless, and Graph automation.
• Automate routines with PowerShell and REST APIs; deliver IaC with Bicep/Terraform.
• Support Microsoft 365 services and hybrid Environments with Azure AD.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
