Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• BS in computer science, software engineering, information systems or related field.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting production software.
• Hands-on experience AWS and production apps.
• Proficiency in languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL and data storage technologies.
• Experience with APIs, distributed systems and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, deployment automation, and IaC practices.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Lean environment and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, and maintain software systems.
• Translate requirements into detailed software designs and specs.
• Serve as a technical resource on projects and contribute to architecture and code reviews.
• Develop and maintain applications in AWS environments.
• Design cloud solutions with AWS services (compute, storage, DB, network).
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for build, test, deploy and release activities.
• Apply cloud security practices and logging.
• Implement monitoring and dashboards for availability and performance.
• Analyze performance, capacity, and cost; suggest optimizations.
• Ensure fault tolerance and recovery within requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues across app, infra, DB, network layers.
• Support testing, incident response, and root cause analyses.
• Mentor engineers on design, coding and development practices.
