The ideal candidate has 8+ years of advanced Java experience, strong Spring Boot and microservices skills, hands-on AWS experience, and expertise in Angular front-end development and secure, scalable service design.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of advanced Java experience, including collections, streams, exception handling, JVM concepts, multithreading, concurrency, and functional and reactive programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and support of cloud-based applications in an AWS-focused financial services environment.
• Make component level technical decisions, build secure and scalable services, and improve application performance and reliability.
• Guide implementation teams, strengthen automated testing and delivery practices, resolve complex issues across services, and mentor developers.
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs, document implementation decisions, and align solutions with enterprise standards.
