Job summary
System One is seeking an AWS Informatica Developer in Lafayette, LA for a permanent full-time, hybrid on-site/remote role. Responsibilities include designing and supporting ETL workflows with Informatica PowerCenter, AWS data services, Redshift, Airflow, and SQL optimization within a financial services setting.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in Informatica, strong SQL/Oracle skills, Python proficiency, and hands-on AWS + Airflow experience, with a focus on scalable, secure data pipelines
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Informatica experience with hands-on PowerCenter (CDI PC version)
- Informatica PowerCenter experience required; IDMC not acceptable as a substitute
- Strong enterprise ETL and data integration development experience
- Advanced Oracle and SQL skills including complex query development and troubleshooting
- Strong Python scripting/development skills for data processing and automation
- Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting experience
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, SNS, SQS)
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, including DAG development
- Experience with Amazon Redshift and Redshift Spectrum
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and root cause analysis skills in enterprise data pipelines
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
- Desirable: AutoSys scheduling, Jenkins/CI-CD, additional AWS data services
- Desirable: experience in financial services or regulated industries
- Bachelor's degree related to CS/IT/Engineering
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, test, implement and support ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter
- Analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate into specs
- Develop and optimize Oracle SQL queries for data integration
- Develop Python scripts and utilities for data processing, automation, and integration
- Create and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for ETL and batch processing
- Work with AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS) for cloud-based data processing
- Work with Amazon Redshift and Redshift Spectrum for large-scale data processing
- Develop and support Apache Airflow DAGs for pipeline orchestration
- Troubleshoot ETL, data pipeline, application and production issues; perform root cause analysis
- Support CI/CD and automated deployments (Jenkins where applicable)
- Ensure solutions meet security, quality, compliance and operational requirements
- Collaborate with business and technology teams in a fast-paced financial services environment
