Qualifications

• At least seven years of experience in the specified technical field, or four years of recent, demonstrated experience with emerging technology and four years in a closely related technical field.
• Eight years of analytical experience.
• BA/BS or MA/MS in computer science, information systems, mathematics, relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Provides expert support and technical direction on executive-level projects.
• Thinks independently with exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
• Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
• Works on unusually complex technical problems and delivers innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the AWS GovCloud platform within the CloudArchitecture and Administration team.
• Design and implement IaC and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, CodePipeline, and GitLab CI.
• Implement GitOps workflows for infrastructure and configuration management.
• Manage AWS Organizations, SCPs, and cross-account networking (Transit Gateway, VPC, PrivateLink).
• Build and operate container platforms (EKS/ECS) and ensure container security.
• Automate remediation and ensure security compliance with GovCloud-specific controls.
• Implement centralized observability with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk; optimize costs.
