Job summary

Macersoft Technologies is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and support a cloud-based sales platform built on AWS. You will work across frontend and backend components, databases, and third-party integrations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, AWS serverless services, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs. You will collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and product owners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience developing frontend applications using React and Next.js.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudFront.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven patterns.
• Git-based source control and modern software workflows.
• Security: authentication, authorization, and secrets management.
• Experience troubleshooting across development, testing, and production environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build serverless APIs and backend services using Node.js, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Develop asynchronous workers and event-driven processes.
• Create and maintain REST API integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Integrate with enterprise platforms (Oracle, SharePoint, Snowflake, etc.).
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and data-access components (PostgreSQL/Aurora).
• Work with Kafka/MSK and EventBridge for event-driven processing.
• Implement authentication/authorization via Cognito, Entra ID, SAML, OAuth, JWT.
• Manage storage and content delivery with S3/CloudFront; deploy with ECR and CI/CD pipelines.
• Secure credentials with Secrets Manager/Parameter Store; monitor with CloudWatch/Datadog.
• Write clean, secure, testable code; create unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews.
• Prepare technical docs; support deployments and production issue resolution.
