Job summary

System One is seeking a Senior AWS Full Stack Engineer to join a hands-on development team focused on scalable enterprise applications. You'll work with Java/Spring Boot, Angular, Python, and AWS, building APIs, microservices, and cloud-native services in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will leverage GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to boost productivity, mentor engineers, and contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, and application reliability in large-scale financial services projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on development with Java and Spring Boot.
Front end development with Angular.
Proficiency with Python for development, automation, or AI use cases.
Strong hands-on AWS development experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and Python.
Build and support cloud native applications and services within AWS heavy environments.
Work with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS.
Develop and support APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed components.
Use GenAI and AI assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, LLMs) to improve productivity and code quality.
Apply LLMs and agent-based workflows to automate development tasks.
Create unit and automated tests and participate in code reviews.
Translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Collaborate in an Agile delivery environment.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, testing, and reliability.
