Job summary

Glint Tech Solutions LLC is seeking an AWS/EKS Platform Engineer for a long-term contract in Reston, VA. Hybrid work requires 1 day on site weekly with local candidates preferred. The role focuses on cloud-native automation, EKS provisioning, and enterprise cloud transformation.

You will drive architecture decisions, automate deployments, and lead transformational initiatives across the enterprise while mentoring peers and aligning with customers on cloud-native patterns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in AWS Cloud
• AWS certification required
• Experience with provisioning via automation using EKS
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)

Responsibilities

• Communicate architectural decisions, plans, and strategies
• Engage in end-to-end lifecycle of services from inception to operations
• Establish automation capabilities leveraging cloud-native solutions
• Lead enterprise cloud transformation and migration efforts
• Mentor peers and collaborate across teams
• Monitor and manage stability, availability, and performance across systems
