Job summary

ITEAM Bulgaria Ltd. is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable AWS environments for client projects in the United States.

You will shape Landing Zones, define account structures, networking, IAM and security controls, and drive IaC best practices with Terraform. You will collaborate with architects and security teams to translate requirements into robust cloud solutions, ensuring reliability and operational efficiency across multi-account setups.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and infrastructure.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AWS Landing Zones.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Good understanding of AWS networking, IAM, security, and multi-account environments.
• Experience implementing cloud governance and security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an AWS Landing Zone aligned with security, governance, scalability, and operational requirements.
• Define Cloud architecture, including AWS account structure, networking, identity and access management, and security controls.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Establish and maintain Cloud governance, security policies, and infrastructure standards.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and other stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into cloud solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
