Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Azure Engineer to join a hybrid Plano-based team. The role focuses on Azure infrastructure rather than pure DevOps, with cloud automation using Terraform and secure, scalable landing zones.

The candidate will design and implement automation for IAM, networking, security policy as code, and observability, while collaborating in an Agile environment to deliver the engineering roadmap and ensure secure cloud platform patterns.

Qualifications

• Extensive Azure experience with a strong understanding of core infrastructure and network components.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code automation and provisioning.
• Experience in creating private endpoints in Azure and integrating with on-premises systems.
• Knowledge of native Azure security tooling such as Sentinel.

Responsibilities

• Write public cloud infrastructure as code automation using Terraform.
• Design and develop public cloud landing zones automation to build core cloud foundational platform services.
• Develop cloud services provisioning automation with IAM, network, security policies as code, and observability.
• Implement resiliency, observability, and FinOps for IaaS and PaaS in infrastructure automation.
• Develop and maintain cloud services CI/CD pipelines for the cloud platform, VMs images, and containers.
• Collaborate with product management and operations to deliver the engineering roadmap in Agile.
• Partner with Security teams to engineer secure application patterns into cloud platforms.
• Translate business requirements into technical definitions and playbooks for deployment.
