Job summary

MEI Ai is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Architect to lead the design and migration of a standalone DePuy Synthes entity onto a secure AWS platform. You will craft Landing Zone architecture, manage migrations of critical MedTech applications, and ensure compliant data governance.

The role requires hands-on Terraform, IaC, and secure CI/CD capability across multi-account environments, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, VPC, IAM) and enterprise tools (Control Tower, Organizations, SCPs).
• Direct experience with corporate demergers, spin-offs, or cloud-to-cloud migrations.
• Expert-level Terraform with multi-account workspaces and state management.
• Experience securing self-hosted runners and secret management systems (Secrets Manager, Vault).
• Healthcare/MedTech or regulated environments familiarity with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Design a greenfield AWS Landing Zone for the standalone entity.
• Migrate multi-tier MedTech apps with minimal business disruption.
• Architect new VPCs, Transit Gateways, Route 53 separation, and re-routing VPN/Direct Connect away from corporate networks.
• Audit, refactor, and decouple shared Terraform modules and CloudFormation templates to remove cross-account dependencies.
• Rebuild and isolate CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins) from shared services.
• Assist Identity teams in moving from unified IdPs to independent DePuy access models, updating IAM roles and SCPs.
• Ensure DevOps pipelines and cloud infra comply with GxP and data governance policies.
