Job summary

You will design, deploy, and operate scalable cloud-native applications using ECS, Lambda, and CDK, while collaborating with backend teams to ensure reliable delivery. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including ECS, Lambda, networking, and other core AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience building or supporting APIs and backend services using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Experience with relational and/or vector databases.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and services, including ECS, Lambda, networking, and related components.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using AWS CDK and infrastructure automation best practices.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Work closely with backend engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and operate Python and FastAPI applications.
• Design and support cloud-native, containerized, and serverless application architectures.
• Manage AWS networking, security, access controls, and connectivity across cloud environments.
• Support and optimize database solutions, including vector and relational databases.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve reliability and scalability.
• Implement DevOps best practices for automation, observability, security, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes and overall engineering productivity.
