Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to architect and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform, focusing on Kubernetes‑based architectures. You will design CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, manage multi-environment provisioning, and deploy EKS clusters while ensuring security and reliability.

You will leverage Claude for code generation and automation, while collaborating across teams to drive best practices and optimization.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, with a strong focus on scalable, Kubernetes‑based architectures.
• Strong experience with GitHub Actions and scripting skills in Python.
• Experience with Anthropic Claude, including prompt design, model capabilities/limitations, and best practices for using Claude in development, automation, and documentation workflows.
• Ability to hit the ground running with Claude‑based tooling, leveraging it for code generation, architectural exploration, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
• Nice to have AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, etc.).
• Experience with service mesh, API gateways, or distributed systems.
• Background in .NET, Node.js, or backend engineering.
