The AWS Data Lead will lead and manage a team of engineers, define the team's vision, and collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and senior engineers by providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Define and communicate the engineering team’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on the organization.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure the successful design, development, and execution of the product, project, or deliverables.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java/J2EE (Spring, Hibernate, MVC).
- Experience working on Microservices.
- Good experience on AWS Cloud, MSK, Kinesis, Lambda.
- Good hands-on experience on AWS Glue using Apache Spark, Amazon EMR.
- Good experience on container orchestration systems like Kubernetes, ECS.
- Good working knowledge of SPRING Framework & Spring Boot.
- Good experience with Kafka and other messaging systems like RabbitMQ.
- Hands-on experience with REST-based web services.
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries and MySQL or other RDBMS.
- Testing experience in JUnit, Spock, or Groovy.
- Experience with GIT & Maven.
- Experience in writing design documents and good knowledge of UML.
- Handling experience in AWS data engineering projects.
Preferred:
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with code quality tools like Sonar, Checkstyle, FindBugs.
- Experience working on DevOps and related toolsets.
