Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer VI to support AWS cloud environments for DoD-related platforms. The role focuses on stability, security, and scalable cloud solutions across hybrid environments.

The successful candidate will apply extensive systems engineering and cloud experience to resolve complex challenges, improve frameworks, and deliver secure, efficient cloud services for Cloud One and related DoD missions.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance
• 12+ years of systems engineering with AWS cloud experience
• DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification
• At least one cloud certification

Responsibilities

• Drive the stability, reliability, scalability, and sustainability of AWS cloud-based networks, infrastructure, applications, and supporting software systems.
• Perform AWS cloud engineering, operations, sustainment, and maintenance activities to maintain optimal performance, availability, security, and customer experience.
• Design, implement, integrate, configure, and sustain scalable and resilient AWS cloud solutions.
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and effectiveness analyses for cloud-based systems.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, and AWS-native tools.
• Support CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows using Jenkins, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Artifactory.
