Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Edison, NJ seeks an AWS Solutions Architect to design, validate and govern secure, scalable AWS solutions. This role supports cloud migration, modernization and managed services across industries, collaborating with Sales, Data & AI, and Delivery teams.

You will drive architecture patterns, ensure Well-Architected alignment, and mentor delivery teams while advancing cost-optimization and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 10-14+ years of experience in cloud/solution architecture
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services (VPC, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch)
• Strong understanding of security, networking and NFRs in enterprise environments
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AWS solutions covering foundation, networking, identity, security, compute, storage and app platforms.
• Define architecture patterns for migration, modernization (microservices, containers, serverless) and platform engineering.
• Ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework, security best practices, and governance standards.
• Produce architecture diagrams, design documents and non-functional requirement mappings.
• Partner with Sales to shape solution strategies for proposals, RFIs and large pursuits.
• Support client presentations, technical deep dives and executive solution walkthroughs.
• Provide architectural oversight during delivery to ensure adherence to designs and best practices.
• Guide delivery teams on implementation patterns, security controls, automation and runbooks.
• Design for availability, resiliency, DR, performance and cost-optimization on AWS.
• Collaborate with Data & AI, Security, Network, and Applications teams to deliver integrated AWS solutions.
