Job summary

Resource 1 LLC is seeking a senior leader to drive migrations from on-premises to AWS. You will oversee a cross-functional team of cloud, infra, database, DevOps, and migration engineers, delivering complex applications from discovery through post-migration stabilization.

Responsibilities include defining migration blueprints, coordinating with client stakeholders, ensuring governance, and advancing CI/CD and IaC practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and security standards.

Qualifications

• 12–18+ years of IT delivery or program management experience.
• Experience leading multiple migrations concurrently.
• Strong AWS and cloud architecture knowledge.
• Proven ability to drive governance, milestones, and RAID.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional migration team of cloud, infra, database, DevOps, and migration engineers.
• Own end-to-end delivery from discovery to post-migration stabilization.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess architecture, dependencies, constraints.
• Develop migration blueprints covering target architecture, strategy, security, testing, cutover.
• Work with client/application owners to capture requirements and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with migration methodology, governance, standards, gates.
• Drive DevOps practices, CI/CD, IaC, automation, playbooks.
• Coordinate teams across SDLC activities, including testing, release management.
• Manage resource allocation, schedules, risks, RAID.
• Lead readiness reviews, cutover planning, rollback, communications.
• Provide delivery updates and performance metrics.
