Job summary

MANTECH seeks an AWS Cloud Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to support enterprise infrastructure for government missions. You will design, deploy and secure cloud environments (AWS) and collaborate on CI/CD integrations across Windows and Linux systems.

Preferred qualifications include TS/SCI with polygraph, Red Hat and Windows expertise, and SaltStack automation experience. The role offers strong benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related engineering/CS field; 5 years of additional Systems Engineer exp may substitute for degree.
• 20 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer for similar scope work.
• Must hold an IAT II certification (e.g., Security+). If not, obtain within 60 days of start date.
• Proficiency in RHEL 8/9 and Windows Server 2022/2025 environments.
• Practical knowledge of cloud environments and security coordination with ISSOs.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 administration, troubleshooting, and support for Windows Server 2022, Windows 10/11, and RHEL 8/9 in cloud environments.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud environments in AWS using Kion for governance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts with SaltStack for provisioning and deployment.
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security; analyze root causes of incidents.
