State Street is seeking a senior AWS Cloud Engineer – VP III to design, deploy, and support complex AWS‑based enterprise applications and AI‑enabled platforms across Corporate Functions Technology.

The role requires hands‑on engineering, deep AWS knowledge, and the ability to guide other engineers while partnering across architecture, cybersecurity, and data teams. Hybrid work and enterprise‑grade security are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software or cloud engineering experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience.
• Proven end-to-end deployment of complex enterprise applications in AWS.
• Deep expertise in AWS networking, compute, security, data services, observability, and automation.
• Strong experience designing secure multi‑tier AWS architectures.
• Experience integrating AWS AI services (Bedrock or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, deploy, and support complex AWS solutions for enterprise applications.
• Build secure, highly available, scalable cloud environments across multiple AZs.
• Establish reusable AWS architectures, patterns, and standards.
• Lead cloud modernization initiatives for applications migrating to AWS.
• Provide hands‑on engineering leadership across design, build, release, and support activities.
• Implement AI-enabled deployments leveraging AWS native AI services and orchestration.
