STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Functions Senior AWS Cloud Engineer – VP III in Boston. You will design, engineer, deploy, and support complex AWS solutions for enterprise applications, including AI-enabled platforms, with hands-on leadership across design, build, and production support.

You will drive secure, scalable cloud architectures, mentor engineering teams, and partner with architecture, cybersecurity, and risk groups to ensure resilience,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software/engineering experience.
• 8+ years hands-on AWS engineering experience.
• Experience deploying complex enterprise apps into AWS.
• Deep expertise in AWS networking, compute, security, data services, observability, and automation.
• Experience designing AI-enabled AWS deployments and integrating AI services.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, deploy, and support complex AWS solutions for enterprise apps.
• Lead end-to-end AWS deployments from infra to production release.
• Establish reusable AWS reference architectures and deployment patterns.
• Mentor engineers on cloud-native engineering, observability, and automation.
• Ensure security, compliance, and production readiness across environments.
