Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Developer to build scalable backend services for digital financial experiences. Our team modernizes mainframe capabilities and delivers reusable Java applications for customer-focused platforms.

The role is on-site in Westlake, Texas, with W-2 engagement and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision, a 401(k) with company matching, and life insurance.

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering scalable backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and RESTful API development.
• Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures; using Kafka and SQS for messaging, Redis for caching, and SQL/NoSQL data modeling.
• Experience provisioning and developing on AWS, including services such as SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Kinesis, and EKS.
• Ability to design and document secure, performant, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
• Relational and NoSQL database experience, including SQL, table creation, and version control tools such as Liquibase.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum.
• CloudFormation and Terraform experience is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to work on a W-2 basis, as required by the client.

• Collaborate with global teams and take part in key technical discussions.
• Contribute throughout the software lifecycle, from concept through deployment, as part of an Agile team.
