IgniteAction is seeking a senior AWS-certified Systems Architect to lead multi-team modernization efforts, including refactoring legacy systems and cloud-native transformations. You will drive system-of-systems design, governance, and secure-by-design patterns across delivery teams.

The role emphasizes architecture leadership, 7 Rs migration governance, and embedding DevSecOps within cloud-native architectures to ensure scalable, auditable deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal government modernization programs.
• Experience with statistical or data processing systems.
• Experience operating in regulated or governance-heavy environments.
• Experience leading architecture across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture across interdependent systems and workflows.
• Define target-state architectures across presentation, application, data, and integration layers.
• Govern 7 Rs migration framework and define phased migration waves.
• Architect AWS-based solutions using Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/EKS/Fargate, RDS/Redshift, S3.
• Embed DevSecOps and automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Produce architecture artifacts: ICDs, ADRs, deployment views, and governance docs.
• Support architecture reviews, approvals, and compliance readiness.
