Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an AWS Technical/Cloud Architect with 10+ years of AWS experience to lead large-scale migrations and modernizations. You will design target-state AWS architectures, implement cloud-native solutions, and drive DevSecOps practices across onshore and offshore teams.

Responsibilities include discovery, assessment, and defining roadmaps, plus ensuring security, governance, and cost optimization in complex enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and more.
• Enterprise cloud architecture and solution design experience.
• Hands-on in Java 25 and Spring Boot 4.1+, Angular 22, Python/Node.js.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven patterns, and databases.
• OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, and cloud migration.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• CI/CD with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• REST APIs, enterprise integration patterns, and messaging platforms.
• AWS security, IAM, VPC, encryption, and compliance.
• Monitoring with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana; DevSecOps focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and assessment of apps on legacy VM/OpenShift.
• Define target AWS architecture including landing zone and security.
• Design cloud-native microservices and serverless patterns.
• Develop migration waves, roadmaps, milestones and resource needs.
• Establish governance, IAM, encryption, and risk mitigation.
• Prepare high-level estimates for migration, modernization, and costs.
• Lead architecture reviews and mentor onshore/offshore teams.
