Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an Enterprise Architect with hands-on AWS infrastructure experience to lead cloud migrations from on-premises environments to AWS. You will drive modernization, re-platforming and secure, scalable cloud designs for regulatory environments.

You will be a key member of the Cloud Center of Excellence, guiding SRE and DevOps with architecture best practices, CI/CD, monitoring and security across deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience moving on-premises environments to AWS with clear challenges and trade-offs.
• Ability to re-platform, upgrade OS in the cloud and re-architect workloads.
• Strong knowledge of AWS core services, VPC, subnets and networking.
• Security-first mindset in design and implementation, especially for regulated environments.
• Proven CI/CD, DevOps and SRE practices with observability.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate an enterprise-class cloud environment on AWS.
• Lead and optimize cloud workloads for resilience, security, performance and cost.
• Plan migration of on-premises workloads to AWS with appropriate strategy.
• Re-platform and modernize during migration, including re-architecting apps.
• Provide architecture guidance to SRE and DevOps teams; support CI/CD and monitoring.
• Incorporate security into deployment pipelines and cloud designs.
