Job summary

Monet Bank in Texas is hiring a Senior Cloud Architect to own the AWS environment end to end. You will design, operate, secure, and set standards for a cloud-first bank, with autonomy and real impact in a regulated, fast-paced setting.

You will drive migrations, automation, cost controls, and security compliance, while collaborating with a small team to shape engineering standards and cloud governance.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in IT with strong hands-on cloud experience, including AWS delivery.
• Deep AWS expertise across compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD.
• Strong cloud network and security design: VPC, encryption, IAM.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and secure Monet's AWS environment.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization with minimal business disruption.
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD so provisioning is repeatable and auditable.
• Maintain security standards aligned to banking regulations; collaborate with Security and Risk.
• Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team and establish engineering standards.
• Administer AI platforms (OpenAI/ChatGPT): provisioning, SSO, usage controls.
