Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Cloud Administrator to provide expert-level cloud operations across AWS-based environments at Tyson's, VA. You will implement automation, monitor systems, and remediate incidents to keep mission-critical apps available and secure.

The role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph, 10+ years of experience, and a Bachelor’s degree. You will collaborate with system engineers, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams on architecture and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud administration/IT operations.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• US Citizenship Required.
• Location: Tyson's, VA (On Customer Site).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level cloud operations across AWS-based environments.
• Support cloud application architecture, development, and engineering activities.
• Coordinate with system engineers, cybersecurity engineers, and DevSecOps personnel.
• Conduct daily O&M tasks including audit log reviews, access control management, and backup verification.
• Maintain compliance with SSPs and ATO commitments.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and document work in Jira/Confluence.
• Lead troubleshooting and remediation of cloud incidents and outages.
• Use automated recovery workflows and environment rebuild procedures.
• Perform root-cause analysis and feed insights into runbooks and automation pipelines.
