Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Cloud Administrator to operate and secure AWS-based environments supporting mission-critical intelligence community applications.

You will lead cloud incident resolution, automate recovery, and align work with security baselines while collaborating with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and system engineers on complex deployments.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required and TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Minimum 10+ years of related experience in cloud environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level cloud operations, architecture support, monitoring, and incident remediation for AWS-based environments.
• Ensure availability, resiliency, and compliance of enterprise cloud systems supporting IC applications.
• Coordinate with system, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams for planning and implementation.
• Perform daily O&M tasks, audit reviews, access control, backups, patching, and service checks.
• Lead root-cause analysis and feed insights into runbooks and automation pipelines.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and document work in Jira/Confluence.
