Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in Bethesda, MD seeks an AWS Cloud Security Systems Administrator to support customer activities. The role focuses on building and securing AWS environments, deploying demonstrations, and coordinating with program offices to design the final system.

Requires 8+ years of related experience, TS/SCI with Poly, and strong skills in AWS CloudFormation and DevOps. On-site work with opportunities for professional growth and extensive total rewards packages

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or closely related discipline, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of related experience required.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
Experience with AWS CloudFormation and large-scale system integration; knowledge of infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy a demonstration capability with a team of cloud professionals.
Coordinate with hosting teams to establish and maintain environments for development, test, and production.
Review and maintain environments to latest security posture and industry standards.
Develop templates or scripts to automate routine developer or operations tasks.
Monitor and manage multiple cloud environments to client specifications; refine requirements iteratively.
Develop technical documentation and briefing materials for program reviews and gates.
