Job summary

Agility Partners is seeking an AWS AI Platform Engineer to architect, implement, and sustain secure, scalable AWS AI/ML platforms for a banking industry client. The role emphasizes enterprise-grade guardrails, governance, and production readiness to enable GenAI adoption at scale.

The ideal candidate brings 9+ years in cloud platform engineering, deep AWS experience, and hands-on work with IaC, CI/CD, Terraform/CloudFormation, and Python scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• 9+ years of cloud platform engineering / enterprise technology delivery.
• Strong AWS platform engineering experience with scalable environments.
• Hands-on with IaC, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
• Experience enabling AWS AI/ML and GenAI services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Strong Python and scripting; SQL, APIs, cloud integration, automation.
• Experience with Generative AI architectures, prompt engineering, RAG, model orchestration, and related tooling.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI governance, security, observability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, provision, and maintain secure, scalable AWS AI/ML platform infrastructure using IaC and CI/CD.
• Enable and support AWS AI/ML and GenAI services—Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Design platform capabilities for Generative AI, RAG, model orchestration, and data integrations.
• Partner with engineering, security, risk, data, and business teams to set standards, guardrails, and governance.
