Job summary

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a Senior AWS AgentCore Platform Engineer to design scalable AI platforms with enterprise observability and governance. You will work with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and MCP servers to enable secure, observable AI deployments across multiple units.

This role emphasizes LLMOps, cost awareness, and platform standardization. The ideal candidate has deep CI/CD expertise, Terraform IaC, and hands-on experience with distributed tracing in large-scale enterprise

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong AWS experience: IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, Bedrock.
• Hands-on observability & distributed tracing: Dynatrace, Jaeger, Honeycomb, OpenTelemetry.
• Terraform IaC and enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile teams using Microsoft Teams, Confluence, and modern collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade observability for AI agent ecosystems built on AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and MCP servers.
• Assess CloudWatch, X-Ray, Bedrock logging, and AgentCore tracing capabilities.
• Develop distributed tracing for AI workloads including LLM decision paths, tool invocations, sub-agent interactions, and MCP server communications.
• Build structured logging frameworks to support governance and performance optimization.
• Define enterprise monitoring standards and alerting frameworks across AI platform services.
• Collaborate to drive platform standardization, automation, and operational excellence.
