Job summary

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking an experienced Senior AWS AgentCore Platform Engineer to join our hybrid team in Reading, PA. You’ll shape enterprise AI infrastructure, define observability, and implement scalable governance across AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and MCP servers.

You’ll build and optimize IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring via Dynatrace, Jaeger, Honeycomb and OpenTelemetry. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong cloud fundamentals are essential for

Qualifications

8+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infra.
Experience with AWS services including IAM and monitoring.
Hands-on observability and distributed tracing using Dynatrace, Jaeger, Honeycomb, OpenTelemetry.
Experience with Terraform IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and agile collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-grade observability for AI agent ecosystems on AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and MCP servers.
Develop cost visibility and governance frameworks; implement tagging and cost reporting.
Define monitoring standards, alerting, and incident response across AI platform services.
Develop secure multi-team platform governance and ABAC concepts; build reusable Terraform modules.
Build and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines; drive platform standardization and automation.
