Job summary

Westhab in New York seeks an Assistant Vice President for NYC Housing Programs. You will provide leadership for development, implementation, and expansion of the NYC program portfolio, coordinating startup activities from credentialing through staffing and budget readiness.

Collaboration with senior leaders and external partners is essential. The role drives interdependent workstreams, monitors milestones, resolves operational issues, and ensures timely program openings and ongoing operations,

Qualifications

• Five+ years of senior-level administrative experience overseeing multiple programs.
• Experience in homeless services and working with NYS/ NYC funding agencies.
• Strong managerial, administrative, and fiscal analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee start-up, operations, and expansion of NYC program sites.
• Coordinate program applications, documentation, and site approvals.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staffing for new programs.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Develop budgets and monitor startup expenditures for new programs.
