Job summary

Columbus Technologies and Services in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Lead to coordinate avionics test and integration for subsystems, ensuring verification and validation of requirements. You will steer automation in the integration and test process and provide troubleshooting support to project users.

The role requires leading a team, planning test activities, assigning tasks, and delivering documentation, procedures and training guides for successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of related experience; or Master's with 5+ years.
• 5+ years experience in avionics/test and integration or a related field.
• Experience in developing a subsystem test plan and deploying a test environment.
• Lead experience in the integration of subsystems with multiple circuit card assemblies.
• Strong background in avionics and/or power analog and digital circuitry design/analysis.
• Proficient with Python or shell scripting; extensive Unix/Linux experience.
• Familiar with test management tools (TestRail, qTest) and automation tools.
• Experience with source control tools (Git, SVN, AccuRev, CVS, JIRA).
• Experience in developing training documents and strong written communications.

Responsibilities

• Plan integration and test activities.
• Assign tasks for test engineers.
• Identify, distribute and track requirements to be tested for each test event.
• Execute manual and/or automated test suite, regression testing and reporting.
• Produce documentation including issues, test procedures, results and training guides.
• Lead communications with team and stakeholders on investigations and issue resolutions.
